Blaue Lagune - a photo on Flickriver

Blaue Lagune

            Der Bahnhof Hannover-Nordstadt wird auch als Blaue Lagune bezeichnet. Er wurde 1997 im Vorfeld der Expo errichtet und ersetzte den Haltepunkt Hainholz an den wenige Meter weiter nördlich und auf einer höheren Ebene verlaufenden Fernbahngleisen. Die Gleisanlagen nahe der S-Bahn-Haltestelle dienen auch dem Güterverkehr und den Abstell- und Reinigungs(-?)anlagen des Fernverkehrs.

The S-Bahn-Stop Hannover-Nordstadt is also called Blue Lagoon, because of his design and probably also because you look down from the Street, the Lightrail and the Trains, which take the former route about hundred meters north, where they pass the old stop "Hainholz".
