A Light Shines For You - a photo on Flickriver

In the midday brilliance
I still lit a candle for you
My heart soared out reaching
For the shining light that grew

Lighting a votive for my family, and I still continue to do so. It is a simple act, this lighting of a flame, but it helps to release such emotion, sharing it on the spiritual plane.

You guessed it, this needs extending as a piece of poetry. I shall have to be about my business.
