KCS leads 181 north at Rutledge (8-11-23)

            KCS 4839 and CP 8934, joined by a pair of KCS GP40s, have reached the top of Rutledge Hill at sunset. The northbound Mexico Midwest Express is splitting a set of searchlights that still guard the south switch for the time being.
