Boerentoren, Antwerpen - a photo on Flickriver

            When the building was completed in 1931, it was the tallest skyscraper in Europe with a height of 87.5 meters and 25 floors. The tower is currently 95.75 meters high. This makes it the second tallest building in Antwerp after the 123 meter high cathedral.

Als das Gebäude 1931 fertiggestellt war, war es mit einer Höhe von 87,5 Metern und 25 Stockwerken das höchste Hochhaus Europas. Der Turm ist derzeit 95,75 Meter hoch. Damit ist es nach der 123 Meter hohen Kathedrale nun das zweithöchste Gebäude in Antwerpen.
