Objective: Binocular plein air

I framed this from a binocular view of South Sandia Peak in central New Mexico; working time about two hours on the afternoon 
of  29 December 2025. I had given a yellow ochre wash to the linen on the 27th. Brrrr. This really shows the value of plein air, especially in mixing colors, but I was so cold.  As during my morning walk, the temperature made for a brisk pace at the easel.

Pigments (Winsor & Newton Artists' oil colour unless otherwise noted): Yellow ochre, warm grey (Rembrandt), Permalba white (Weber), lamp black, cerulean blue, cobalt blue, Winsor yellow, terra rosa. Mediums: Gamso, Oleogel.
Centurion OP DLX oil primed linen, 40.6 x 30.5 cm (16 x 12 inches).
