Footwell 1 -- Stairway to Heaven - a photo on Flickriver

            This image relates to my preceding one.  That was shot because of the striking shadow patterns thrown alongside the stairwell where a few days earlier I'd taken a series of photographs of my wife's dangling feet.    

This one shows the same spot in less dramatic light, but with her feet insinuated back into view, this time more comfortably planted on the stairs.

This suggests a change to a well-known bit of nonsense by even worse...

Yesterday upon the stair,
I missed a lady who'd been there.
She sat upon the stair today,
How I wish she’d stay that way.
