Early Morning Departure - a photo on Flickriver

            Container ship leaving the Port of Los Angeles. This is a relatively small vessel which I suspect was headed to China. The ones coming into port are quite a bit larger with many more containers hence our trade deficit with China. We are a nation of consumers and a service based economy so not everything we export goes out on a ship. I got this shot early on a rainy morning as our ship was docking at port.
