Harking back to last month this was taken at sunset as I was driving from the lake district to Aberfeldy. I'd stopped in the afternoon to shoot a waterfall and then set off for my B&B. As sunset approached I could see the light getting more and more golden and with the clouds present I started to become desperate for a spot where I could get a decent shot. I came across a small layby and decided not to risk running out of time. A few hectic moments later I had camera and tripod out of the car and started shooting as the sun set. I captured various stages of the sun setting including a sunstar as it went down behind the mountains but I liked the way the trees were backlit and how the light was illuminating the cloud in front of the sun. It's a 7 shot bracketed image as the dynamic range was incredible.
