SULPHUR CRESTED COCKATOO - a photo on Flickriver

            Taken in the Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney (NSW,  Australia)...this "cockie" landed straight in front of me squawking as he landed on the statue! They have been known to live for just over a 100 years - a truly remarkable bird...Cheers from Oz
P.S. for those botanically minded the tree in the background with orange fruits is Auranticarpa rhombifolia ("Hollywood" or "Diamond-leaved Pittosporum")
