Grays Elite, Newark (NG) - YHZ 2543 (BU53 MCL, MXI 7168, BU53 MCL)

The 22nd April 2023 saw the first of the weekend’s FA Cup Semi-Finals with Manchester City meeting Sheffield United at Wembley Stadium and seeing many coaches making their way South. One such vehicle pictured transporting Sheffield United fans to the game was YHZ 2543, a Setra S415GT-HD coach in the fleet of Grays Elite, Newark, Nottinghamshire. It had been new to MacPherson, Donisthorpe, Leicestershire as BU53 MCL in April 2006, passing to Roberts, Hugglescote, Leicestershire in January 2018. It was acquired by Maxfield, Aughton, South Yorkshire in September 2018 and was reregistered MXI 7168 the following month. It had reverted to BU53 MCL by the time it joined Grays Elite in March 2022 and was promptly given its current mark.
