Stieglitz / Goldfinch - a photo on Flickriver

            Zwar kennt man die Stieglitze als ziemlich streitlustig und weiss, sie zoffen sich gerne, oft und laut - aber meist passiert das so unvermittelt und kurz, dass es schwer ist so einen Moment abzupassen. Diese Aufnahme ist deshalb mehr ein Schnappschuss.  Ich habe länger überlegt ob ich das Foto in meinen Stream lege, hauptsächlich aus technischen Gründen. Zum einen habe ich es nicht richtig geschafft beide Vögel so im Sucher zu halten, dass die Flügel komplett zu sehen sind. Beim oberen fehlen die Flügelspitzen im Bild. In solchen Fällen wären mehr Megapixel (als die 20MP der 7DII) besser, so dass man etwas mehr Rand um eine so schnelle Szene haben kann ohne zu viel an Auflösung zu verlieren. Zum anderen ist die Verschlusszeit schon fast zu lang und die ISO zu hoch. Das ich das Bild jetzt doch zeige hängt damit zusammen, dass ich denke dieses Verhalten gehört zu dieser Finkenart einfach dazu. Bilder wo sie friedlich herumsitzen habe ich schon mehrere. 
Um das Bild besonders detailreich sehen zu können, drückt die Tasten l (kleines L) und F11. Beim vergrößern nur durch Anklicken gehen euch viele Details verloren. 

Goldfinches are known to be quite argumentative and we know that they like to quarrel often and loudly - but that usually happens so abruptly and briefly that it is difficult to anticipate such a moment. Hence this photo is more of a snapshot. I thought about adding the photo to my stream for a while, mainly for technical reasons. On the one hand, I didn't really manage to hold both birds in the frame so that the wings are completely visible. The wing tips of the upper one are clipped. In such cases, more megapixels (than the 7DII's 20MP) would be better, so you can have a little more space around such a fast scene without losing too much information. On the other hand, the shutter speed is almost too long and the ISO is too high. The reason that I'm showing the picture now is because I think it is an important part of the life of Goldfinches. There are already many pictures of them sitting peacefully on a perch.
