Cliveden House. The rather monstrous Clock Tower.

            View of the east facing herbaceous border in the entrance courtyard. This side is planted with a soft colour scheme as opposed to the west facing border which has 'hot' planting.
The 100 foot high clock tower was added in 1861 and is actually a water tower, (Cliveden being the highest building for many miles) and it still supplies the water for the house.
