Vom morgendlichen dunstigen Licht durchdrungen erstrahlt die sonst in tief-dunklem Pink üppig blühende dunkle Weg-Malve. Ihr Farbeffekt ist sehr markant.

Es ist eine besonders schöne und langblühende  (ab Juni bis in den Herbst hinein) Vertreterin der Malven.

In meinen Garten mit ländlichem Flair passt diese Malve, die aufgrund ihrer Herkunft aus Südeuropa und Nordwestafrika auch Mauretanische Malve genannt wird, sehr gut zu meiner weiß-blühenden Garten-Busch-Malve (Lavatera x olbia 'Baby Barnsley') nebenan.
Gepflanzt habe ich sie nicht dahin. Sie hat sich ausgesamt und ich lasse die Pflanzen einfach gewähren.
