Fantail / Piwakawaka - a photo on Flickriver

            The Piwakawaka was swooping low over the surface of the tree-lined Eastern Hohonu River (Lake Brunner). The minor ripple on the water provides for some interesting textures. It is also nicely reflected not only the filtered sunlight and some greenery, but also the Piwakawaka itself. Apologies for a lack of sharpness due to low light and 50% crop.
