Day 1953 | Growing

            It occurred to me recently that some of the images I've been posting have been a bit more based on routine and going through the motions, dare I say, a feeling of obligation to this Project 365, than actual interest and wanting to process and post them.

No good.  In parallel, or perhaps coincidentally, I had lunch with a group photography friend of mine that said he's started exploring more-and-more dodging and burning.  I've dabbled in the past, but never really picked it up myself so figured that might be a new, creative way to make my photographs mine.  

So, bear with me as I begin experimenting with it, but I think this could be another one of the tools in the toolchest that could serve the dual purpose of forcing me to use the right side of my brain, which I feel I do way too little of.
