Pwerus y Coch

            Pwerus y Coch (meaning Powerful the Red in Welsh) was named in alignment of his destiny: to become a great Welsh warrior. He rivaled Beowulf in strength and the greatest strateigests in mind. In a battle in year 558 he was captured and tortured by the enemy. While he was lying in his cell after the worst torture session yet, he was on the brink of death, but the Arianrhod had other plans. Pwerus suddenly found himself energized and his strength had grown exponentially. He broke out of his dungeon, slayed his captors, and returned to his homeland to lead an attack on his enemies that ended the war. However, he sustained many mortal wounds, and died a hero's death, honored by all Welsh to come.
