            Der Gardasee ist der größte See Italiens.
Er liegt zwischen den Alpen im Norden und der Po-Ebene im Süden und seine Ausdehnung in der Länge beträgt ca. 50 km. Im nördlichen Abschnitt hat der See eine Breite von 4 Kilometer, während im Süden die breiteste Stelle ungefähr 17 Kilometer misst. / Lake Garda is the largest lake in Italy.
It is located between the Alps in the north and the Po Valley in the south and its extension in length is about 50 kilometers. In the northern section the lake has a width of 4 kilometers, while in the south the widest part measures about 17 kilometers.
