National Wear Red Day is for awareness of heart disease. I honestly believe the main cause of heart/cardiovascular disease is clogged arteries which comes from a diet of too much consumption of animal products. No one needs to consume meat, dairy or eggs every day. I gave up all meat about 15 years ago and most dairy and eggs about five years ago. It took me about a year to give up all dairy and eggs, and my health is better than ever -- I no longer have congestion, a runny nose or my annual bad cold during cold weather.
