A Japanese bush warbler in ume flowers

            A Japanese bush warbler (Cettia diphone) is a fovorite bird to Japanese because of beautiful voice of the male. Often this bird has been associated with flowers of ume trees (Japanese plums), but in fact such association rarely happens. On a sunny spring day, I and a friend were birdwatching near my house in Nagoya Japan. We were surprised to find that the traditional idea became real.
