Anax empereur femelle ( Anax imperator )

Je poste cet empereur anax pour une bonne raison.
Cette année, j'ai non seulement remarqué une diminution des papillons mais aussi des libellules.
Sans parler des petits oiseaux aussi.

I'm posting this Emperor Anax for good reason.
This year I not only noticed a decrease in butterflies but also dragonflies.
Not to mention the little birds too.

L'anax empereur (Anax imperator) est un insecte de la famille des Libellulidae. 

C’est la plus grande libellule et le plus grand insecte d'Europe, avec une taille comprise généralement entre 70 et 80 mm mais elle peut atteindre 110 mm. 

Son thorax est vert, l'abdomen du mâle est bleu orné d'une bande noire, celui de la femelle marron-gris avec des anneaux noirs. 

La femelle pond ses œufs dans des tiges mortes de roseaux qui flottent à la surface de l’eau ou ils sont inoculés dans les tiges des végétaux. 
Les œufs vont éclore trois à six semaines, la période d’incubation étant variable suivant la température. 

D'origine africaine, elle est assez commune sur la plupart des milieux stagnants (ou à courant faible) riches en végétation (et non pollués par des pesticides) en plaine surtout. 
Visible d'avril à octobre en Europe occidentale et centrale.
Elle a fortement régressé ou disparu des zones d'agriculture intensive. 

It is the largest dragonfly and the largest insect in Europe, generally between 70 and 80 mm in size but can reach 110 mm.

Its thorax is green, the abdomen of the male is blue decorated with a black band, that of the female brown-gray with black rings.

The female lays her eggs in dead stems of reeds that float on the surface of the water or they are inoculated into the stems of plants.
The eggs will hatch three to six weeks, with the incubation period varying depending on the temperature.

Of African origin, it is fairly common in most stagnant (or weak current) environments rich in vegetation (and not polluted by pesticides) in the plains especially.
Visible from April to October in Western and Central Europe.
It has strongly regressed or disappeared from areas of intensive agriculture.
