Sechserbrücke im Stadteil Tegel - Six-span bridge in the Tegel district

            Am nördlichen Ufer des Tegeler Sees entwickelte sich am Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts ein reger Ausflugsverkehr: Die Menschen  schlenderten über die Uferstraße, heute als die Greenwichpromendade bekannt, die Uferstraße bis zum Freibad Tegel. Unterbrochen wurde die Uferstraße vom Tegeler Fließ. Der ortsansässige Fischer Siebert verdiente sich mit dem Übersetzen der Wanderer*innen ein Zubrot. Die kurze Fahrt mit seinem Kahn kostete 5 Pfennige. Nach dem Übersetzen konnten die Wanderer*innen ihren Weg fortsetzen. 
Auf dem Weg zum Freibad lagen Ausflugslokalen, wer wollte 
 konnte sich dort bei Kaffee und Kuchen stärken bevor sie Ihre Wanderung ins Freibad fortsetzten.
Die Tegeler Hafenbrücke  im Berliner Ortsteil Tegel, im Volksmund „Sechserbrücke“ genannt, überspannt als Fußgängerbrücke die Einfahrt des Tegeler Hafens und die Mündung des Tegeler Fließes. Sie wurde 1908 als stählerne Fachwerkbogenbrücke einschließlich eines Betonteils über das Tegeler Fließ mit einer Gesamtlänge von 91 Metern gemeinsam mit dem Hafen und der Tegel-Friedrichsfelder Industriebahn erbaut; erst 1921 folgte der südliche Torbau mit zwei Kassenhäuschen – Architekt: Stadtbaumeister Ernst Hornig. Heute steht sie unter Denkmalschutz und ist häufig Kulisse für Dreharbeiten." Wikipedia

Tegel was first mentioned in a document in 1322 as the church village Tygel. Today Tegel is a district of the Berlin borough of Reinickendorf, which was incorporated into Greater Berlin in 1920.

At the end of the 19th century, a lively excursion traffic developed on the northern shore of Lake Tegel: people strolled along the Uferstraße, today known as the Greenwichpromendade, the shore road to the Tegel open-air swimming pool. The Uferstrasse was interrupted by the Tegeler Fließ. The local fisherman Siebert earned extra money by ferrying the walkers across. The short trip on his barge cost 5 pfennigs. After the crossing, the hikers could continue on their way.

Le lac de Tegel et la forêt de Tegel sont des lieux d'excursion très appréciés des Berlinois*.
Sur la rive nord du lac Tegel se développait à la fin du 19e siècle un intense trafic d'excursion : les gens flânaient sur la Uferstrasse, connue aujourd'hui sous le nom de Greenwichpromendade, la rue de la rive jusqu'à la piscine en plein air de Tegel. La Uferstraße était interrompue par le Tegeler Fluss. Le pêcheur local Siebert gagnait un peu d'argent en faisant traverser les randonneurs*. Le court trajet à bord de sa barque coûtait 5 pfennigs. Après la traversée, les randonneurs* pouvaient continuer leur chemin. 
Sur le chemin de la piscine en plein air se trouvaient des restaurants d'excursion. 
 pouvaient s'y restaurer avec du café et des gâteaux avant de poursuivre leur randonnée vers la piscine en plein air.
Le pont du port de Tegel dans le quartier de Tegel à Berlin, appelé "Sechserbrücke" dans le langage populaire, enjambe l'entrée du port de Tegel et l'embouchure de la rivière Tegel en tant que pont pour piétons. Elle a été construite en 1908 en tant que pont en arc de treillis en acier, y compris une partie en béton, au-dessus de la rivière Tegel avec une longueur totale de 91 mètres, en commun avec le port et le chemin de fer industriel Tegel-Friedrichsfelder ; ce n'est qu'en 1921 que la construction de la porte sud avec deux guichets a suivi - architecte : l'architecte municipal Ernst Hornig.
