Top of the world - a photo on Flickriver

Top of the world

            Well ok not quite I know, as Mont Blanc is taller in France and then there’s Everest.... but for us yesterday we felt on top of the world. We took a couple of cable cars up to the top to take in the view. This was the second, I should possibly have taken a fuller photo of the station at the top as it really does hang off the edge from a certain angle.
Val Thorens lies to the right of the photo with the villain of Reberty seen in the (nearly ) centre of the photo. Mont Blanc is just to the right ( out of shot) on the horizon.
About an hour after I took this we got drenched by a passing shower, but that soon cleared and the remainder of the walk home was dry.
