RFO 2019 302 + goederentrein Gekkengraaf - Maasvlakte - Griendtsveen

            Op 13 april 2024 waren mijn zoon en ik onderweg naar Eindhoven om de thuiswedstrijd van de toekomstige landskampioen tegen Vitesse te bezoeken.
Aangezien we nog een beetje tijd hadden, besloot ik onderweg te Griendtsveen te stoppen in de hoop een paar goederentreinen te kunnen fotograferen.
Helaas wist ik niet, dat er werkzaamheden waren, er kwamen dus alleen maar dubbeldekkers voorbij gereden.

Gelukkig kwam er echter toch noch een highlight, de RFO 2019 302 reed voor het eerst met de containertrein uit Gekkengraaf naar de APM terminal op de Maasvlakte.
Nadat ik de trein had gefotografeerd, ging het naar Eindhoven en konden we van een verdiende 6 – 0 genieten 😊


On April 13th 2024, while driving to Eindhoven, I stopped for some trainspotting. Because work was carried out east of Venlo, there weren’t any freight trains to and from Germany.
Luckily the train from the Gekkengraaf terminal (near Venlo) to the Maasvlakte (west of Rotterdam) was running. And, for the first time, a class 2019 engine as used for end-to-end usage.
