NS U87. Bud, WV on the Princeton Deepwater District.

            I had the opportunity this weekend to shoot a line that I never thought possible. The Princeton Deepwater district hasn't seen a train in 5 years, the rails have rusted over that the rumble of trains were no more. That all changed this past Saturday. The Virginian lived on, for one day at least. 150 coal hoppers under the symbol of NS U87 were taken to Clark's Gap for storage, and more than likely perminant storage. Here the three dash 9's struggle up the 2% grade and roll over the trestle in Bud, Wv. The trestle still shows the signs of electrification from the Virginian days.
