" Six Mile Point "

The deserted beach at Newcastle Co Wicklow.
This is my local beach where I often go in the early morning to have some alone time with nature and the elements. Its very beautiful and there is a 10km walk to Kilcoole and back which is wonderful even on the wettest and wildest of days. I always cycle to here as its all downhill from where I live and I tie my bike to the railings and head off. I love the stones and the shingle and the textures with the high tide mark clearly visible. The rusty railway track on the left stand out a lot which seems to match the line of seaweed on the beach. Most of all I love the "white horses" that dance along shore away in front of you and off into the distance and I love the sound they make. Its a simple honest photo and I like that.
