Onychogomphus costae. Adult female. - a photo on Flickriver

            A esta hembra la encontramos en el río Luchena. Nos habíamos desplazado para fotografiar al Zygonyx torridus, y la sorpresa fue encontrar esta hembra con las alas algo deterioradas que no le impedían volar. 
Era la primera vez que veía una hembra de esta admirada especie. En compañía de Pipa y Pepe Ros. 
En el río Luchena en el término municipal de Lorca (Murcia) España

We found this female in the Luchena River. We had traveled to photograph the Zygonyx torridus, and the surprise was to find this female with somewhat deteriorated wings that did not prevent her from flying.
It was the first time I had seen a female of this admired species. In the company of Pipa and Pepe Ros.
On the river Luchena in the municipality of Lorca (Murcia) Spain
