Diplacodes lefebvrii. (Rambur 1842) Hembra joven. Young Female

            Diplacodes lefebvrii (Rambur 1842) es una especie de pequeño tamaño (25/34 mm) que está muy poco distribuida en Europa. Es común en gran parte de Africa y se extiende por el Océano índico y por Eurasia. En la Península ibérica la tenemos en algunos puntos del sur y generalmente en zonas próximas a la costa. Hasta hace unos años, en la Comunidad Valenciana sólo estaba citada en Alicante (capital) y Villena. Su hábitat son aguas estancadas como charcas y pequeños embalses con mucha vegetación en las orillas.

Diplacodes lefebvrii (Rambur 1842) is a species of small size (25/34 mm) that is very little distributed in Europe. It is common in much of Africa and extends across the Indian Ocean and Eurasia. In the Iberian Peninsula we have it in some points of the south and generally in zones near the coast. Until a few years ago, in the Valencian Community was only cited in Alicante (city) and Villena. Its habitat is stagnant water like ponds and small reservoirs with a lot of vegetation on the banks.
The female is still allowed to photograph.
