Million-Euro organ festival dedication concert

            My fellow flight attendant Cheryl and I traveled by train from our layover in Frankfurt to the awesome organ concert with choirs of St. Stephan's & St. Alban's, chantry of St. Alban's, & orchestra on Sunday, March 10th, 6:00 p.m.; the Gothic-period St. Stephen's Church, founded in 950, is one of the nine collegiate churches in Mainz – while never having visited the city, and living most of his life in France, Marc Chagall became an honorary citizen of Mainz for his work on these magnificent, stunningly blue stained glass windows, which he designed as a symbol of Jewish-Christian unity – after the concert, Cheryl & I took the train back to Frankfurt and the next morning worked the return flight over the Atlantic Ocean again to Charlotte, North Carolina: attending the concert with Angelika in Mainz was the highlight of our 3-day (48-hour, start-to-finish) transatlantic trip to Germany!
