Monarch Beauty DSC_4502 - a photo on Flickriver

            Life has been a bit of a whirlwind as of late. I am grateful for the beauty that surrounds me. The butterflies and birds lift my spirits during difficult times.   I do hope to get out with the camera more often in the near future.  

Over the last couple of years, I have had the opportunity to care for a couple of close family members during their final months on earth.  It's a difficult venture but I know that I made a difference in the quality of their remining time and helped them live their best lives while they were here.  

I was regaled with stories about other family members long gone and got to know them on a deeper level than I ever would have had I not been blessed with the opportunity to care for them.  

There are humans that helped me through this difficult time as well.  My daughter and husband always have my back.  They listen with compassionate ears and offer insight when I am overwhelmed.  It's a true blessing to have them in my life.  I am forever grateful for them. 

I am trying not to get too personal but just wanted to say something since so many of you have sent personal messages.  It's nice to know I have been missed.  If you have sent a personal message and I have not yet responded.  Please accept my apologies, I will do my best to answer soon.
