Ooit lag er een indrukwekkend emplacement met 20 sporen. In de hoogtijdagen vele tientallen mensen gewerkt aan het onderhoud van stoomlocomotieven en rijtuigen. Actieve periode 1886 - 1949.

Een van deze rijtuigen en een goederen wagon bevinden zich in het SHM trammuseum te Hoorn. (Wiki)
