Typhoon from kugenuma - a photo on Flickriver

            9.16.2013　台風18号　13日9時に小笠原諸島近海で発生した台風は
発達しながら日本の南海上を北
上し、15 日 9 時に強風域(平均風速 15 m/s 以上の領域)の半径が 500km を超えて大型の台風と なり、15 日 18 時には暴風域(平均風速 25 m/s 以上の領域)を伴い、15 日 21 時には中心気圧 960hPa、最大風速 35 m/s の大型で強い台風となった。 中心気圧 965hPa、最大風速 30m/s、暴風域の半径が南東側
190km、北西側 110km、強風域の半径が東側 520km、西側 480km の大型の勢力で愛知県豊橋市付近に上陸した。その 後、台風は速度を速めながら東海地方、関東甲信地方及び 東北地方を北東に進み、16 日 21 時に北海道の南東の海 上で温帯低気圧となった。
