That's a lot of freezer cases! - a photo on Flickriver

            SET 6 – Oxford Kroger, 2020 Remodel/Expansion

Throughout this album, we’ve discussed how this store’s original frozen foods configuration saw the freezer cases placed parallel to the back wall, as opposed to perpendicular, which is the normal direction that aisles run in. With the 2020 remodel/expansion project, not only would an expanded frozen foods department be added to the store, the configuration of the aisles would be straightened out as well, with the new frozen cases running front-to-back as you’d typically find in another Kroger or grocery store brand. This shot shows us that construction in-progress; new cases had been installed for a portion of the area, while the old cases were still in service and were temporarily blocking the full installation of the new stuff.
