Mandarin Duck - Male - a photo on Flickriver

            While these beautiful ducks are very common south of the border they are somewhat a rarity in South West Scotland. This one has made several appearances the last few years at Eskrigg Nature Reserve in Lockerbie and has now become quite the 'celebrity' .
