Shado Mobiles Back From The Sahara. - a photo on Flickriver

            Damaged by an Interceptor as it passed the Moon a UFO crashed in the Sahara desert mostly in tact due to the sand cushioning the impact.

Immediately a specialist SHADO crew were sent to recover the craft.

This involved the use of the 2 rarely seen SHADO Mobile conversions for specialist operations.
The Heavy Recovery Mobile
& The Heavy Cargo Mobile.

Both are seen here, back at Base after an unsuccessful mission to recover the UFO.
