1964... Yashica J-P - a photo on Flickriver

1964... Yashica J-P

Simple as simple can be. Yashica took a step backward when this camera was introduced. It was released around the same time as the much better known J-5... the J-P was stripped of a bunch of features and with this very simply made lens, probably had a price point around $100.

This is however, a really well built camera and I've always enjoyed the placement of the shutter release button out front (where your natural grip is).
