Heading Home!

            Adult light morph Broad-winged Hawk heading from it's breeding grounds to South America. We went to the Hawk Mountain Sanctuary Kempton, PA. It's part of the Appalachian Mountains or Blue Ridge. It's a rough 1.5 mile hike up, but well worth it. We saw in a couple hours over 200 BWH and many other migrating birds. It was a fantastic day!
