giant in the woods

            This giant in the rainforest had roots visible within 15 meters of the trunk. I could not tell the height correctly because of the vegetation. I think about 50 meters.

As we walked around the tree and the root, the rainforest around us lost its prominence. We were just amazed. How many centuries has this giant spent here? 

Discovered in Tamborine Mountain, Queensland, Australia.
