The second attempt

Earlier I posted a shot of a hike to the top of Barden in Senja (www.flickr.com/photos/115540984@N02/54821190337/in/datepo...). I didn't get there because of the weather.

But three hours later the sky opened up and it looked very promising so up I went again over the same swampy path that marked the first few hundred meters of the climb.

More a less coincidentally at the same point where the first time I turned around I took this panorama shot. From here you can now see the rim on where to walk when you want to go to the top (it is ca 500 meter more to climb), and in the far distance you can see the Segla and Hesten top, other climbs that I did later, and the village Fjordgard where you start those climbs.

Although the weather still looked good, 30 minutes later (I had done some 250 meters further up) more clouds came from the west and started covering the sky taking all the light away. Then I knew that a proper panorama view from the top was an illusion so back I went again, sliding down over that muddy path. I didn't know at that time that I would walk that muddy path 6 more times.
