Cherubic faces on a poppyhead - a photo on Flickriver

            These poppyhead pews at St Mary and All Saints (Crooked Spire), Chesterfield are next to a Jacobean pulpit. Whether they are of this date or more likely from the 1843 restoration by Gilbert Scott I don't know. Alternatively Temple Moore removed some box pews between 1896 - 1910.
