I can never resist a lighthouse shot! This was taken from Footdee Beach through some sort of old structure that reminded me of sun rays or wheel spokes. “The image shows the South Breakwater Lighthouse in Aberdeen, Scotland, a structure that guides ships safely into the harbor. Breakwaters are coastal structures built to protect harbors from waves and currents. Aberdeen is a city in Aberdeenshire, a region on the northeast coast of Scotland known for its maritime history and scenic coastline.
The South Breakwater Lighthouse is a prominent landmark in Aberdeen, and is a popular tourist attraction. The breakwater itself is a large structure that extends out into the sea, and it is designed to protect the harbor from waves and strong winds. The lighthouse is located at the end of the breakwater, and it has been guiding ships into the harbor for many years.”
