Farewell, Lenny (2004-2021)

            On Wednesday our beloved family cat Lenny died two days after his 17th birthday. When he was born on the 12. April 2004, I was still in elementary school. He accompanied me nearly through my whole childhood and we had an amazing time together. So holding him in my arms while he was peacefully falling asleep broke my heart. Although it's really hard at the moment, it's a comforting thought knowing that he had a long and beautiful life and I'm thankful for all the experiences we shared together. One of the many things Lenny loved was sitting in the garden and enjoying the last warm sunbeams from the sunset. I imagine him now walking into the sunset and I'm sure he will find a warm and cozy place there. Thanks for everything, Lenny. - Patrick
