The April surprise in Yosemite - a photo on Flickriver

It was two years ago this day (April 8) when I arrived at sunrise in Yosemite after a rare heavy spring snowfall, witnessing this beautiful sight. Now I see that snow is predicted up there again today! How I wish I could zip up there, but there's just too much work to do.

Work often gets in the way, doesn't it? We don't often remember the work, but we remember the times we took the effort to see nature's beauty. Don't skip the opportunities when they come.
