Spotted - a photo on Flickriver

Spotted

            I knew the grey heron had seen me when he turned to face into the wind for an easy take-off.  The longest lens I had with me was the 100mm I had on the camera, so I took the shot and the heron took off.  I was impressed with the fact that even with a severe crop to the middle of the frame, I still got a useable shot at the end of the day.
