The Old Maid - a photo on Flickriver

The Old Maid

            The Maid of the Loch hauled out of Loch Lomond recently and is the process of being restored.  I think it will take some time and a fairly hefty chunk of money to complete the task. I sailed on her back in the 1960s on a school trip to Rowardennan to climb Ben Lomond.  Then she was a beautiful ship, but now she really is a sad old maid.
