Ciervo escocés - Scottish red deer - a photo on Flickriver

            El ciervo en Escocia es la misma especie que el europeo y el ibérico, a su vez subespecies diferentes, según tengo entendido. Por razones que desconozco es de Escocia tiene en general menores cuernas. Esta foto que os ofrezco es fruto de un encuentro casual durante un paseo en las Highlands. NO busquéis nitidez ni calidad fotográfica, porque no la vais a encontrar. Tiene par mí es sabor de lo inesperado, de lo auténtico, de un encuentro en una bellísima naturaleza -adoro Escocia y las Highlands en particular- con dos animales salvajes dueños del paraje. La tomé dentro del Parque Nacional de Cairngorms, el mayor de Escocia, en junio de hace cinco años.
