Op zondag 31 augustus werden de werken op L1 tussen Lembeek en Edingen afgerond. Ondertussen rijden de blauwe en rode Eurostars dus terug over de volledige lengte van L1, zij het dan wel nog aan een verminderde snelheid van 170 km/u op het vernieuwde stuk (dit is een tweetal weken voorzien).

Op dinsdagavond 26 augustus moesten de Eurostars wel nog via L94 omrijden en zo 'boemelt' deze 4343 hier dus in Marcq in het laatste zonlicht van de dag voorbij. Over een dikke zes kilometer zal de Eurostar dan aan de Y Beauregard de wissel richting L1 nemen om uiteindelijk met een flinke vaart naar de lichtstad Parijs te snellen.

On Sunday, August 31st, the work on L1 between Lembeek and Edingen was completed. Meanwhile, the blue and red Eurostars are now running again the full length of L1, albeit at a reduced speed of 170 km/h on the renovated section (this is scheduled for about two weeks).

On Tuesday evening, August 26th, the Eurostars still had to detour via L94, and so this 4343 is "slowing" past here in Marcq in the last sunlight of the day. In a good six kilometers, the Eurostar will then cross over to L1 at Y Beauregard, finally speeding towards the City of Light, Paris.
