Op stakingsdag 13 januari was het schitterend weer en dus zocht ik in de ruime regio van mijn thuisstad een trein die überhaupt wou rijden. Ik vond die in de vorm van ouigo 54 tussen Brussel-Zuid en Paris Nord. Ik trok dus maar al te graag naar het veld aan de Chemin de Nivelles in Soignies waar de trein me perfect op tijd in het winterse landschap kruiste. En dat was dan ook direct zowat de enige trein die hier tussen 10u17 en 17u17 in deze richting reed!

Pas thuis zag ik dat er in het veld nog een paard stond te grazen. Wie zoekt, die vindt 🐴

On national strike day January 13, 2025, the weather was beautiful, so I looked in the wide region of my home city for a train that would run at all. I found it in the form of ouigo 54 between Brussels South and Paris North. So I was more than happy to go to the field at the Chemin de Nivelles in Soignies where the train met me perfectly on time in the winter landscape. And for all, that was almost the only train that drove in this direction between 10:17 AM and 5:17 PM!

[Edit] The graffiti-covered white I11 railway passenger car in second position was digitally replaced by an I11 in Ouigo stickers.
