LINΞΛS 1304 @ Hennuyères 🇧🇪

Na een klein uurtje verliet ik het veldwegje in Hennuyères en waagde 500m noordelijker nog even mijn kans. Er zaten namelijk nog twee varkensneusjes AM 800 in de pijplijn met een IC van Antwerpen naar Binche - eigenlijk een doorkoppeling van een IC Antwerpen - Brussel en een P-trein Brussel - Binche. De normale IC's naar Binche komen namelijk uit Turnhout!

Maar voordat het koppel varkensneusjes mijn lens kruiste, werd ik nog verrast door deze 1304 van LINΞΛS. En ja, verrast is hier wel het goede woord want exact een uur eerder had ik deze locomotief al als losse loc vanuit Braine-le-Comte richting Brussel zien sporen - met dank aan mijn contact voor de info 🍻 Jammer genoeg meldde mijn contact ook dat er voor de rest geen andere cargo meer in aantocht was...

Maar hé... het bleek dus dat deze loc maar tot in Clabceq-Marchandises was gespoord om daar een sleepje platte wagons aan te koppelen voor de korte overbrengingsrit van Clabecq naar Manage. De trein verbindt hier dan ook twee vestigingen van het staalbedrijf NLMK en was in de ondergaande zon van 4 maart net op tijd voor de oprukkende schaduwen!

En de varkensneusjes? Wel, die passeerden een dik kwartier later maar jammer genoeg zat de zon dan wel in een sluier...

LINΞΛS 1304 had to do only a short trip on the evening of March 4, 2024. The locomotive left Clabecq with a tow of flat wagons and drove to Manage, thus connecting two branches of the steel company NLMK.
