RTB Cargo 193 565 @ Alt-Hoeselt 🇧🇪

We waren die zondag dus met een bende van een achttal fotografen gestart in Hoeselt en voordat we met een kleiner aantal richting Nerem trokken, stond er eerst nog een korte tussenstop geplant in de bocht bij Alt-Hoeselt.

Daar was de groep fotografen zo mogelijk nog groter dan in Hoeselt - gezellig keuvelend op corona-proof afstand wachtten we met zijn allen op de doortocht van de "Evolution"-Vectron van RTB Cargo.

In eerste instantie had deze “Evolution”-Vectron net voor de "DB Cargo Fährt" moeten rijden maar een panne in Zeebrugge (opstartproblemen van de loc) zorgde voor een klein half uurtje vertraging. En zo konden we deze bijzondere loc met zijn lege Mosolf-autotrein naar Montzen dus in deze bocht bij Alt-Hoeselt vastleggen.

Het viel mij trouwens sterk op dat de locs en bijbehorende slepen die dag qua kleur perfect bij elkaar pasten ;-)

Oh ja, nog eens dikke merci aan Maarten omdat ik mee op zijn ladder mocht - coronaproof uiteraard ;-)

Another special Vectron that passed our spotting place that day, was this "Evolution"-Vectron of RTB Cargo. The train drove from Zeebrugge to Montzen and was captured in this marvellous curve in Alt-Hoeselt.
