1968 Plymouth Road Runner

            Each year, on the last weekend of August, I help run the Annual Chrysler Convention Charity Car Show in Vernon, CT which benefits the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Besides being one of the show field judges, I also help with event organizing, promotion, setup, parking the participants, photographing the event and whatever else needs to be done to help make the a successful show each year for over 25 years.  I am also one of the primary instigators of a long standing tradition, the "Post Show Shenanigans" where participants are "Unofficially" encouraged to exercise the ponies when exiting the event.  I myself have left a mark, or two, or a few dozen, when pulling my car out of the show field.  Since I'm usually the guy with the still camera in hand and a camcorder running on a tripod,  I don't get much self incriminating evidence,  but usually catch most of the other moving violations that occur.   This here is George Nilsen's 1968 Hemi Plymouth Road Runner tattooing the pavement.   Just off camera, both to the left and right, is a large crowd of people cheering him on.
